The Mirror - Your Vote Matters

At the start of this post, November 3, 2024, we sit three days before the 2024 Presidential election for the next President of the United States. The intent of this post is not to persuade you to vote for one person over another. My goal is to help my readers understand the importance of voting. We are privileged in this great country to vote on who "runs" our country.

My opinion does not matter on who you should vote for in this presidential election, but what does matter is that you get out there and vote. When you decide who you want to vote for, you are deciding how this country will operate for the next four years. Your vote is based on your values and what is important to you. These values are highly personal and vary from one person to another.

Today, November 5, 2024, the United States will vote for the next President of the United States of America. If you are a citizen of this country and are over the age of 18, you have the right, privilege, and responsibility to go out and vote!! Today is the day we decide!!

Update: Kamala Harris lost the 2024 Presidential Election to Donald Trump. My intent is not to create bias for this post. Therefore, if you VOTED and your candidate won, then congratulations! You took the privilege that so many take for granted in our country. You stepped out with divided political parties on both sides and voiced your opinion in a critical race. I would be proud of you if you could vote, and YOU DID! That is what matters!

The Land of the Free is nothing to be taken for granted. We must become a more grateful country. As a country, a state, a city, a community, a family, and an individual, we should focus on everything we DO HAVE and less on what we don't have. We must keep moving forward.
